Dr. Jorge R. Caso is an Associate Professor of Urology and the Chief of Urologic Oncology at Tulane University School of Medicine. He is a fellowship-trained urologic oncologist and specializes in all phases of urologic malignancies. His specialized expertise is in the use of the da Vinci robot for management of kidney cancer, bladder cancer, and prostate cancer. His vast experience brings him to Tulane, where he will carry on our department’s long tradition of delivering minimally invasive surgical options for these malignancies, including focal therapy for prostate cancer. He received his bachelor’s degree in literature and his master’s degree in public health from New College of Florida. After receiving his medical degree from the University of South Florida, he completed his urologic oncology fellowship at Duke University Medical Center. He is a member of the American Urological Association (AUA), Society of Urologic Oncologists (SUO), and several other prestigious urologic organizations.
